When creating a quote for a customer, it’s common practice to add billable hours before a mechanic is even assigned.
If a mechanic flags their time, the system will create an additional line for the mechanic below the original quoted amount.
Manually move the billable time down to the mechanics line otherwise they will not be paid for the work done, as there is no billable time to stamp into the payable time once the job is completed.
As long as the hours in the billable column are assigned to the mechanic, the payable date will update with the proper payable amount when completing the job.
