Unit Inventory - PAC Aging Settings

PAC amounts and percentages are used to hold back dollar amounts, percentages, or both from salespeople's commissionable amounts. You may wish to have the default PAC amounts change for your units automatically over time. The PAC aging settings allow you to seamlessly change the unit PAC amounts and percentages as units age.

1. From any module in MotilityAnywhere, select the user icon in the upper right of the screen to open the menu.
2. Choose the Settings option from the menu. This will open a screen where, depending on your security permissions, you may view or update company settings.
3. Select the App Settings tab.
4. Click the Unit Inventory subtab on the left side of the screen.
5. Click once over the PAC Aging Settings section. This will expand the section.

6. To add a new aging setting, click the Add PAC Aging button in the upper right of the table.
7. If the new setting will apply to new units only, select the N option. If this setting will apply to used units, select the U option in the N/U field. Leave blank to have this setting apply to all units.
8. Optionally, if this setting will apply to a specific unit make, you may choose it from the dropdown.
9. Optionally, if this will apply to a specific unit model, you may choose it from the dropdown.
10. Optionally, if this setting will apply to a specific unit type, you may choose it from the dropdown.
11. Optionally, if this will apply to a specific unit price calculation, you may choose it from the dropdown.
12. If your aging setting will only apply to units within an age range, you may enter the number of days in the age from and age to fields.
13. If the PAC amount will include a percentage, enter the percentage into the PAC % field.
14. If the PAC amount will include a dollar amount, enter this into the PAC Flat field.
15. If you wish to apply a default markup percentage, enter this percentage into the markup % field.
16. Enter the order that you wish the setting to show into the Order column. Higher numbers will show at the bottom of the list. If multiple aging settings are set to the same position number, they will show alphabetically.
17. Select the Update button on the row to save your changes.
