MotilityAnywhere is a web-based platform, allowing you to work online. To ensure smooth operation, please refer to the steps below.
Google Chrome
We recommend using the Google Chrome browser for MotilityAnywhere. Download the Chrome browser.
Set Chrome as your Default Browser
Windows 10 or Earlier
- Select the Start button, and then type Default apps.
- In the search results, select Default apps.
- Under Web browser, select the browser currently listed, and then select Google Chrome.
Windows 11
- Click the Start button.
- Type Settings into the search screen and open.
- Select Apps.
- Click Default Apps.
- Locate your Chrome browser.
- Select “Set Default” towards the top right of the page.
Set Default Printer
MotilityAnywhere uses your computer's default printer to print reports, invoices, and more. The Infinity program used your printers that were connected to our servers.
- Select the Windows Start button.
- Navigate to the Settings.
- Choose the Devices option.
- Select the Printers & Scanners option from the menu on the left.
- Scroll down the list of printers and uncheck the box to Let Windows Manage My Default Printer, if checked.
- Click over the printer you want to use. This will expand the section.
- Click the Manage button. This will open a screen with that printer's options.
- Choose the Set as Default button.
Disable Ad Blockers
- On your Android phone or tablet, open Chrome.
- Click ⋮. This three-dot menu icon is in the upper-right corner of the browser window.
- Choose the Settings option. It's near the bottom of the menu and will open a new tab.
- Click the Extensions option. This can be found at the bottom of the menu on the left.
- Disable ad-blocker extensions.
- Reload the webpage.
Enable Popups
By default, Google Chrome disables pop-ups automatically in the browser. If you are having problems like, reports or forms won't open, or forms/reports won't print, this can happen when the popup blocker is stopping the MotilityAnywhere program from opening other windows.
On the Fly
If you just tried to print a report, you may see an icon on the right in the address bar at the top of the Chrome screen.
- Click over the icon. This will open a small window with options.
- Choose to allow popups for the MotilityAnywhere site.
- Click the done button. Now popups will be allowed for the site.
On a New Chrome Browser
- Open Google Chrome on your computer.
- Click ⋮. This three-dot menu icon is in the upper-right corner of the browser window.
- Click Settings. It's near the bottom of the menu and will open a new tab.
- Click Privacy and security. You'll see this next to a checkered shield on the left side of the page.
- Click Site settings. It's near the bottom of the "Privacy and security" section next to an icon of three sliders.
- Click Popups and redirects. You'll have to scroll to the bottom of the page to find this under the "Content" header.
- Click Add. You'll see this in the "Customized Behaviors" header under "Allowed to send pop-ups and use redirects."
- Enter your MotilityAnywhere URL.
- Click the Add button. You will now see pop-up windows from this site.
Clear Cache and Cookies
- Open Google Chrome on your computer.
- Click ⋮. This three-dot menu icon is in the upper-right corner of the browser window.
- Click Settings. It's near the bottom of the menu and will open a new tab.
- Click Privacy and security. You'll see this next to a checkered shield on the left side of the page.
- Click Clear Browsing Data. It's toward the top of the "Privacy and security" section next to an icon of a trash can.
This will open the clear browser data window.
- Check the boxes next to "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files".
- Click Clear data.
Run Speed Test
If you are noticing a lag or slowness when using MotilityAnywhere, we recommend running a speed test to ensure that your internet speed meets or exceeds our minimum recommended internet speeds.
- Open a new tab on your Chrome browser.
- Type "internet speed test" without quotes into the search bar.
- Click the Enter key to get results.
- At the top of the results list should show the Measurement Lab speed test. Click the Run Speed Test button to start the test.
- Once the test is complete, your internet speed will show.
Internet Monitor
If you are having problems with timeouts, lag, or loading issues, you may install an extension in Chrome to help our team troubleshoot your concern.
- Open the Chrome browser.
- Select the Extension icon in the upper right of the browser. This looks like a puzzle piece and will open a menu.
- Click the Manage Extensions option in the menu. This will open the Extensions screen.
- Click the link to open the Chrome Web Store. This will open a new tab on your browser.
- Type "Internet Connection Monitor" into the search field.
- Choose the highlighted option. This will update the window.
- Verify that the extension you show is the same as in our screenshot.
- Click the Add to Chrome button.
- You will receive a popup message to confirm installation. Click the Add Extension button.
- You may receive a notification when the installation is complete.
- To verify installation, select the Extension icon in the upper right of the browser. This looks like a puzzle piece and will open a menu. You will see the Internet Connection Monitor installed as an extension.
Memory Saver Setting
A recent update to Google Chrome has added a Memory Saver setting that when enabled, frees up memory from inactive Chrome tabs. This can cause problems when you use multiple tabs for MotilityAnywhere.
Disable Memory Saver

- Open Google Chrome on your computer.
- Click ⋮. This three-dot menu icon is in the upper-right corner of the browser window.
- Click Settings. It's near the bottom of the menu and will open a new tab.
- Select the Performance option from the menu on the left side of the page.
- The memory saver section may be on or off. Click the Add button. This will open a new popup window.
- Check the box for your MotilityAnywhere site or type it in manually. The website address will show if it was open before you started these steps.
- Click the Add button.
