Sometimes, you may need to reassign a salesperson’s leads to another person or group of people. This is often used when a salesperson leaves to distribute their prospects to other salespeople.
- Open the CRM- Sales Quoting module.
- Choose the Prospect Reassignment quick link in the menu on the left side of the screen. This will open the prospect reassignment window where you can make changes.
- In the upper left of the window, click the small arrow to open a list of employees.
- Choose the employee you wish to take prospects away from.
- If you want to limit the prospect information that will be moved from the employee, use one or more filter options. This allows you to move one unit preference at a time, or a single lead type. Leave these options blank to move all prospects.
- In the All Salespeople section, click the checkbox for each salesperson that you want to receive prospects. This will highlight each person in the list.
- Click the Add button between the boxes to copy the selected salespeople from the personnel box to the left into the Reassignments box on the right.
- If you want the reassigned prospects to be marked as new contacts for the salespeople taking over the prospects, check the Mark Reassigned Prospects as a New Contact box below the reassignments box.
- Choose the Reassign button in the lower right of the window. You will receive a notification when the process is complete.
- When you have finished reassigning prospects, click the X in the upper right or the close button in the lower right of the window to close.
