MotilityAnywhere allows you to pre-enter commission percentage or dollar amounts per employee. Commissions are how staff get paid for the deals that they complete. Commissions can be set as a percentage or flat rate amount and can be modified on each deal. Commissions are applied as either Front End (Sales Profit) or Back End (Finance Profit).
- Open the Deal Desking module.
- Locate your deal in the list, then double-click over the row to open the deal window.
- Click the Edit button in the lower right of the window to edit the deal.
- Click the Commissions (Comm.) tab.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the tab.
- Click the Edit Defaults button. This will open the Commission Defaults screen.
- Locate the employee that you wish to update commission amounts or percentages for in the list.
- Set the front end commission percentage or flat dollar amount that the employee will earn for new versus used units. This is normally set for salespeople and other front-end employees.
- Set the back end commission percentage or flat dollar amount that the employee will earn for new versus used units. This is normally set for finance personnel and other back-end employees.
- Optionally, you may define minimum and maximum dollar amounts that the employee can earn on a deal.
- If the after box is checked on an employee's row, that person will get their commission calculated after any other people get their commission. This means that anyone with the after box checked will receive a lower commission even if their percentage is the same.
- Repeat steps 7-11 for each employee for whom you wish to create default commissions.
- Click the Save button when finished.
Once commission defaults have been created, they can be applied for all employees on a deal by selecting the Load Commissions button in the lower right of the deal's commission tab.
