The Accessories tab on a deal or quote allows parts to be included. The price of parts will populate the Total Other Options box on the deal's B.Order and Quote Tabs.
Set Up Parts to Show on Deals
- Open the Parts and Service module.
- From the menu on the left side of the screen, expand the Parts Maintenance section. Choose the Master Inventory option. This will open a part search screen.
- Enter the part number you wish to find into the Part Number/Identifier field. This will return a list of results in the table below.
- You may double-click over the part row or click once to highlight, then choose the Open button in the lower right. Either of these options will open the part profile.
- On the part profile's General tab, check the Sell in Finance box. This will allow this part to show as an option in the deal's accessories tab.
Add Part to Deal
- Open the Deal Desking module.
- Locate your deal in the list and double-click over the row to open the deal.
- Click the Edit button in the lower right to edit the deal.
- Choose the Accessories tab (Acc.)
- The Accessories section will be open by default. You may choose to collapse the section by clicking once over the section. Choose to expand the Parts section by clicking over it.
- Choose the Add button to add a new line to the table.
- Click the ellipsis button (…) on the new part line to search for a part. This will open the part search window.
- Click the Find button to show a complete list of parts available to add to deals. Optionally, you may start typing the part number in the search field before pressing this button to limit the search results.
- Check the box to the left of each part in the list that you wish to add to the deal.
- Click the Select button below the middle section. The section on the right populates with the accessories you selected.
- Click the OK button in the lower right to apply the part(s) to the deal and return to the deal window.
- Once the parts have been added to the deal, you add the cost to the unit by starting a Service RO.
