Quotes can be created from a prospect's profile in the CRM module, or created on-the-fly from the Deal Desking module.

Start a Quote From a Prospect's Profile
- Open the CRM- Sales Quoting module.
- Type the entity’s name in the global search field in the upper left of the screen.
- Double-click over the entity you wish to open. This will open the entity record.
Note: It is recommended to verify that any co-buyers, unit preferences, and trades are entered in their corresponding tabs before proceeding.
- Scroll down and click on the Lead Info tab.
- Click the Start New Quote button. This will open the Choose Preset screen.
- Choose the appropriate preset to apply to the quote. The preset might be used for in-state vs. out-of-state quotes, or motorized vs. towable quotes, so you should pick best choice using the list in the upper left of this window.
- Click the Start New Quote button in the lower left of the window. This opens the buyer’s information selection window.
- You must choose which Unit Preferences, Co-Buyers, Prospect Trades, and Personnel you want to add to this quote. Click the Check All Items button in the lower right to choose all items in each section.
- Click the Apply button in the lower right. This will close the window and return you to the customer's profile.
- Open the Deal Desking module.
- Locate your quote in the list and click over the quote number to open it.
Start a Quote On-The-Fly
- Open the Deal Desking module.
- Select the quick link to Start Quote on the left side of the screen. This will open the Choose Preset screen.
- Choose the appropriate preset to apply to the quote. The preset might be used for in-state vs. out-of-state quotes, or motorized vs. towable quotes, so you should pick best choice using the list in the upper left of this window.
- You may use the Entity Number, Last Name, First Name, and Company Name fields to search for the entity who will be purchasing.
- Click the Start New Quote button in the lower right of the window. This opens the buyer’s information selection window.
- You must choose which Unit Preferences, Co-Buyers, Prospect Trades, and Personnel from the customer's CRM profile that you want to add to this quote. Click the Check All Items button in the lower right to choose all items in each section.
- Click the Apply button in the lower right. This will close the window and open the deal or quote.
Note: If this information has not been entered and is relevant to the quote, you will need to add it to the deal.
