Aftermarket products may include Service Contracts, Gap Insurance, Tire and Wheel protection, and Warranty Products. These can be added during a deal.
- Open the Deal Desking module.
- Locate the deal in the list and click the deal number to open the deal.
- Click the Edit button in the lower right to unlock the record.
- Select the Quote Tab.
- Scroll down and click over the Aftermarket subtab.
- Click over the Additional Products line to expand that section to see appearance protection, tire protection, and other products.
- If the supplier can vary, choose the supplier for the line.
- Select the Sold Checkbox to add the desired products.
- Enter the price into the Amount field for the line.
- You may enter the Term or Mileage limitation, set the Quantity, and enter the relevant Contract Number into the fields.
- To add Service Contracts, click over the Service Contracts heading to expand that section.
- If the supplier can vary, choose the supplier for the line.
- Enter the price into the Amount field.
- Select the Sold checkbox next to each product you wish to add.
- If you scroll to the right in the table, the Plan Name, Contract Number and Deductible should be added. This information is shown to your service department if the unit comes back in for service.
- To add insurances to the deal, click over the Insurance Products heading to expand the section.
- If the supplier can vary, choose the supplier for the line.
- Enter the price into the Amount field.
- Select the Sold checkbox next to each product you wish to add.
- If you scroll to the right in the table, the Contract Number should be added.
- Some of the insurance information may populate based on the supplier selected. Enter any additional information needed.
