Alerts are popup messages that can happen various places in the Infinity program. Alerts can be tied to entities, units, and service invoices / ROs.
Add Alert to an Entity
On an entity record, the alert button opens a screen to allow you to enter a message that will open each time the prospect record is accessed from within the Infinity program.
Add Alert to a Unit
The unit profile offers an alert button. Clicking this button opens a screen to allow you to enter a message that will open each time the unit record is opened from anywhere in the Infinity program.
Add Alert to a Service Invoice
Once you have opened a service invoice, you can choose the Tools menu in the upper left to add an alert to the service invoice.
When the RO is opened after an alert has been added, it will pop open the alert before the service invoice opens.
