Microsoft will be changing the authentication for Outlook emails, including O365, to use OAuth 2.0. OAuth 2.0 provides more secure access to your email from a third-party program like Infinity.

IMPORTANT: For lead email addresses, you must turn off Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) in Microsoft Outlook and verify the account is updated to use Oauth in the Infinity program. To do this, you will need to know the password for your leads account. |
Why the Change?
Microsoft is changing how third-party programs like Infinity will connect to Outlook email. This helps keep your business email and information more secure.
When users open their email in Infinity, they will receive a Microsoft prompt to login.
Once logged in, Infinity will save a token until the Microsoft timeout occurs. This is based on a “Refresh Token Lifetime” setting for the Microsoft account. This is set by the Microsoft or email administrator for the dealership.
An additional benefit to using OAuth 2.0 is that users can recover email passwords on their own if they forget their password.
